How does the smog come to choose an air purifier?

I thought that I have been studying the air purifier as a consumer. I have recently read a few articles about the acquaintances who have been powdered with me on the topic of air purifiers. I found out that such mature products are still inside. There are so many tricks... Aside from the price, appearance, after-sales and other factors, from the performance point of view, the most important thing to choose the air purifier is to pay attention to these three keywords:

1.HEPA

Some guidelines for allergic diseases also mention purifiers that require the use of HEPA. This is actually the filter standard for the filter, which is the definition of the US Department of Energy. Personally, it is recommended that only these four letters be recognized. Unless otherwise ULPA (the filtering effect is better), the descriptions of EPA, HEPA-type, HEPA-style, etc. will not work.

2.CADR

This is basically the most important reference indicator, that is, the efficiency of the air purifier to clean the air. Obviously, the larger the value, the better. But the first thing to note is the unit. The American Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) standards are CFM (cubic feet per minute), while the units marked by most domestic manufacturers are m3/h (cubic meters per hour). The former is multiplied by The value obtained after 1.7 is almost equivalent to the latter. That is to say, if a manufacturer promotes 450m3/h, it sounds very large, but it is 264.7CFM after conversion. Secondly, CADR is the “clean” air “efficiency” and should not be confused by the so-called “ventilation volume”. Finally, the US standards and our national standards are not exactly the same, and they cannot be directly equated.

3. Noise

Nowadays, there are more and more air purifier products on the market. Manufacturers understand these two indicators. However, if the air duct is not designed properly and the motor quality is not good enough, the noise is often difficult to control. At the maximum file, the so-called CADR value has no meaning at this time. On the one hand, you can look at the product introduction on the other hand. On the other hand, you can also search some online evaluations.

Having said that, the most important point in reducing the risk of air pollution is: no smoking. The Shenzhen Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Center conducted an experiment and smoked 3 cigarettes in a 35-square-meter room. The average concentration of PM2.5 quickly rose to 966 μg/m3. According to the World Health Organization, the global tobacco epidemic causes nearly 6 million deaths each year, of which more than 600,000 are non-smokers who die from second-hand smoke. Therefore, smoking cessation is the most critical. How long can your life burn if you smoke too much?
