In previous quarters, DEPOT3 has always sought design inspiration from the works of favorite Western artists. The autumn/winter 2015 DEPOT3 series turned its sights to the East. Everyone from Badashanren in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty gave the DEPOT3 designers more room for imagination. For the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, DEPOT3 will continue to explore the works of the Bada Shanren.

In the autumn/winter 2015 collection, DEPOT3 extracted the eyes that best reflected the characteristics of Badashan as the main visual image. The inspiration for the 2016 Spring-Summer series comes from the pen and ink appeal of the Bada Shanren who transcend time and space. He extracts the brush elements from Bada Shanren's paintings and recreates them from brush strokes, graphics, and texts, thus infusing the simplicity of the multiple styles of the DEPOT3. Oriental temperament.

The Bada Shanren's works are in line with modern aesthetics and have a high degree of recognition. Their brush strokes and lines show a sense of loftiness and pride. His use of blank space to create rich paintings coincides with the multiple but simple style of DEPOT3. Light fashion, new design. The lightness of the design is for the practicality and originality of the design, while the lightness of the state is seen as a comfortable and relaxing experience for the wearer. The paintings in the Bada Shanren's works that are few but unreliable have added to the Chinese interpretation of the "Light New" that DEPOT3 upholds. The single product in the new series has been improved in the basic profile, with large profiles and easy lines permeating the entire series.

In the extraction of color, DEPOT3 mainly chose the low-saturation cool color system that gives people a sense of prudence to preserve the pride and arrogance of Badashan people, and added some dazzling colors to reflect the atmosphere of spring and summer.
