China Zishahu Art Museum settled in Shanghai

A folk museum dedicated to the demonstration of teapot art, the China Zisha Pot Art Museum, was opened at Shanghai Hong Kong Mingdu Mansion, No. 733 Fuxing Donglu.

It is understood that among the more than 200 types of teapots collected in the museum, 70 are "China's top ten purple clay pots" selected between 2003 and 2010 in China. These pots broke the traditional Yixing teapot bias process, imitation of the traditional model of the old pot, on the basis of maintaining the traditional craftsmanship, exquisite practicality, the pursuit of the cultural connotation into the pot inside the device, so that a common purple sand Pot has a cultural soul.

More than 200 pots seen by the audience in the museum can describe rich backgrounds and stories. For example, the desert Dunhuang pot created in 2000 is the first teapot that reflects Dunhuang's 1600-year history and culture. Another example is the Beijing Olympics and the Shanghai World Expo Memorial Pot. It vividly reflects the Chinese people's 100-year dreams for the Olympic Games and the World Expo. On the outside of these teapots, many new decoration techniques were successfully used. Another example is the Wenbo Bajiaohu, which is based on the Chinese Wenbo Qigong, Wang Shizhen, Xie Zhiliu, Xu Bangda, and Zhu Jiaxuan, and represents the future development of the teapot. For example, Zhu Jiaxuan's "King Que" pot, based on his love for Peking opera's personality, designed the pot's creative design as an open fan, and put a rosewood on it, and then affixed Peking opera mask tiles. This not only accurately captures Zhu Jiaxuan's cultural context. It also enriches the appreciation of the teapot.
